Count Your Blessings

  1. "When upon life’s billows you are tempest-tossed,
  2. When you are discouraged, thinking all is lost,

Myrtle Beach, SC

Count your many blessings, name them one by one,
And it will surprise you what the Lord hath done.

Farm on Deer Road, Pamplin, VA

Count your blessings, name them one by one,
Count your blessings, see what God hath done!
Pagoda Park, Norfolk, VA

    • Count your blessings, name them one by one,
*Count your many blessings, see what God hath done.
[*And it will surprise you what the Lord hath done.]

Lotus Pond, Surry County, VA

Are you ever burdened with a load of care?
Does the cross seem heavy you are called to bear?

Small Church, Sunbury, NC
  1. Count your many blessings, every doubt will fly,
And you will keep singing as the days go by."

Philadelphia UMC Church, est. 1911,  Sunbury, NC

May you sing all day long as you count the blessings in your life!

Linda, this is one of my very favorite hymns. I used to LOVE to see this one listed on the bulletin when I was playing the piano at church.
Have a wonderful Sunday - thanks for sharing these beautiful pictures.
There are blessings to be found EVERYWHERE!

Certainly some comforting words for me in this post. Seems I can count on a fellow blogger to have the right answers when I need them.

The lotus pond looks like a Monet painting from his home at Giverny.

I have always loved this song and have so often counted my blessings although I really can't count them. There are way too many to be counted.
Thank you for sharing this encouraging post.
Blessings,
Charlotte
