On the road to Connemara, Ireland, headed toward the 12 Bens (hills).
wow, it needs some work. poor thing. (:
this is definitely an interesting old barn!
Linda that is a very interesting barn! The little wooden trailer fits right with the barn :) My notification thingie isn't working on my nav bar this morning and my connection to the intersweb is wonky because we got 5 inches of snow and for some reason that freaks out our IP. You are coming back to MissouREE this year! HooRay! Yes a meetup would be the bestest :) I will look forward to it!
It certainly does look fragile, doesn't it? Like a strong gust of wind would just blow it away....
Awww...so sad to see it falling down! Nice Shot!!!
It looks like a hard-working barn. Or maybe a "rode hard, put up wet" barn. Wonderful photo!
Oh boy, that barn has character! But it doesn't look long for this world!
I always wonder what the really different barns are/were used for. I wish we could know their history.
A double storey barn at that Linda, I bet at one time it was a beauty.
WoW! What a barn! I'd say it was a working barn at one time, but probably just storage, per se, now! LoL! Poor poor ol thingThanks for joining =)
Very good photo of this old barn.Happy Valentine's Day to you, too
It's a lovely old barn and your photo does it justice. For some unknown reason when I first saw it, it reminded of Noah's Ark - go figure! :-)
It does look interesting! I should drive around looking for some barns...I'm sure Sunflower would love the car ride :)
This barn shot makes me think of when I used to build houses with a deck of cards....trying to keep if from toppling over. This is really unique and I am sure it has lots of stories to tell. It has to be one of my favorites this week. genie
That old barn looks just plain TIRED! LOL Interesting structure though....Pam (and Sam)
Well, it was a great barn in its day! Still nice today as well -- it has some stories to tell. :)
It may still be working, but it's also trying to "fall down" - - - just look UNDER that "deck."
Good grief. Just take away ONE of those posts... and I LOVE the wooden cart in the back with the flat tire (I'm assuming it is flat .... goes with the image.
That is a very cool structure! I bet it was really something when first built.
