Knee Deep

(If you don't know this song, the YouTube link is at the end of the post...)

Gonna put the world away for a minute
Pretend I don't live in it
Sunshine gonna wash my blues away
Had sweet love but I lost it
She got too close so I fought it
Now I'm lost in the world tryin to find me a better way

 Wishin' I was
Knee deep in the water somewhere
got the blue sky, breeze and it don't seem fair
the only worry in the world
is the tide gonna reach my chair

Sunrise, there's a fire in the sky
never been so happy
never felt so high
and I think I might've found me my own kind of paradise
Wrote a note, said "Be back in a minute"
Bought a boat and I sailed off in it
Don't think anybody's gonna miss me anyway
Mind on a permanent vacation
The ocean is my only medication
Wishin' my condition ain't ever gonna go away

Absolutely LOVE that song! I have it on my "favorite" CD, and I always sing along with it.
Great pictures to capture it, too!

Oh my....haven't heard this in ages. Gotta love Jimmy Buffet tho. He tells it all 'like it is' in so many ways. Your photos with the lyrics are super as always.

Oh and by the way...you posted the comment at my blog this morning "and that movie is the reason I refuse to take a cruise! Well, that and the fact that I can't swim and am afraid to be out of sight of land..." I say those are words straight from my mouth too!!!!

Excellent post and oh yes we are ZBB
fans. What a talented band. My daughter and son in law saw the ZB and band in Nashville about 6 months before their first song hit the air.
They came home talking about this new band that would surely rule the air waves and they were right.

And of course Jimmy Buffet...is a classic

I know that song well and love it. Between your great photos and the music I'm wishing I was back in Cabo kicking back with my feet in the water and a rum drink in my hand.
