Spiritual Sunday

Come, Thou Fount of Every Blessing

Come, thou Fount of every blessing,
tune my heart to sing thy grace;

streams of mercy, never ceasing,
call for songs of loudest praise.

Teach me some melodious sonnet,
sung by flaming tongues above.

Praise the mount! I'm fixed upon it,
mount of thy redeeming love.

May you be fixed upon the mount today and every day!

Another hymn that I loved to play on the piano! As I was reading your words, I was singing it in my mind.
Your photos fit the lyrics perfectly.
Happy Sunday!

What a fun visit for Spiritual Sunday! Are you familiar with the phrase, "Great minds think alike" ? :) You and I must have great minds today, as I, too, wrote about this lovely old Christian hymn, Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing. Did you know there are FIVE verses to it? I only recently discovered it. And oh, the joys of the words in the lyrics, including that fifth verse. :)

Thanks for a sweet smile and lovely visit. Have a blessed week.
