Pardon me, boy
Is that the Chattanooga choo choo?
Track twenty-nine
Boy, you can gimme a shine.
I can afford to board a Chattanooga choo choo
I’ve got my fare and
just a trifle to spare.
You leave the Pennsylvania station ‘bout a quarter to four
Read a magazine and then you’re in Baltimore.
Dinner in the diner, nothing could be finer
Than to have your ham an’ eggs in Carolina.
Linking to Anni's Thursday Theme Song.

Cute post and the first shot is adorable. Have a lovely day, Linda!
Like the boy in the train.
Glad that you had good teachers, most of them are.
Now that tune will be in my head. :))

Very cool Linda! Love The Road Awaits blog book and the little guy is a cutie!
Cute post - and yes, I'll be humming that tune all day too. But it'll be fun! By the way, where was this train?
I need to message you about having your blog published as a book, since I've been wanting to do that too.
Have a good day!
You, my dear Linda...you rock Blogland!!! This is an awesome song, an awesome post.

All your photos are wonderful and go so well with the song. Excellent Job!!
Happy Thursday!
love that first shot, nice post today.
Fond childhood memory was to ride the Chesapeake and Ohio passenger car to town on Saturday. Still love trains. Your little conductor seems like he's in a perfect spot.
You sure are doing a bang up job connecting your pictures and songs.....and your conductor is a cutie....
I always like posts that use a song and then show bang on pictures to illustrate the song.
You are so creative...nicely done!!
Love the first shot, and the others are perfect, too. This has been one of my favorite songs for more years than I care to admit. Since I was a child, a long, long time ago.
