Ireland's Fences

Last week I showed some of the ubiquitous stone fences from Ireland.  I am continuing the photos from my Ireland trips with some a little more conventional (and since I am traveling, posting a little early!).

Ha'penny Bridge, Dublin, over the River Liffey

Another bridge over the river

If they are on a bridge, are they really fences?  Or are they just railings?  I say fence railings...but I thought they were pretty!
For more interesting fences, stroll on over to Friday's Fences.

I say railings are fences too just with a lot of space on one side :)

Hmmmm that is a good question...guess we better look up the definition of fences n railings! Great shots and lucky you going to Ireland...such a beautiful country!

Oh I remember so many beautiful bridges AND fences in Ireland. I like the second shot of these two the best though - maybe it's the design or maybe the color....but I DO like it!!
