Now That's Old!

Wednesday found me out wandering with camera in hand, looking for something to photograph.  Our area is full of beautiful old churches, interesting barns, and pretty scenery.  We generally start out with a general direction in mind, but are always willing to follow a whim.  Our latest whim led us to a beautiful church near the North Carolina border.

I had a little fun with my editing program, and came up with this.  (I use Photoscape, a free program, and this is the "Lens Flare" option.)

Never one to be satisfied with a little when I can do a lot, I changed it to this. (Color engraving option)

To end with a bit of history, this church was established a long time ago - 1833 to be exact.  179 years old!  That's something to celebrate!

Hope your Sunday is blessed!

Linda, it is a beautiful church and I love how you added the shining star at the top of steeple. Just beautiful. Happy Sunday!

Beautiful church n I love your edits! Just read your post below and see you went to Aunt Catfish's...we are very familiar with that area...our condo of 13yrs was just over that bridge. We loved eating at Aunt Catfishs too! Sold the condo in 2004 n moved our winter resident to Brunswick/Golden Isles.
