My Favorite Kind of Fence!

Took a trip a few weeks ago to see my sister and her family...no trip to see her is complete without a visit to a winery - or two or three...and this one was no exception.  This lovely fence and gate marks the entrance to a winery with a simply gorgeous view.  And, the wines aren't too bad either!

Entrance to Narmada Winery in Amissville, VA.  There are lights on the gates - I imagine it is lovely at night!

This was the view from another winery we visited - Little Washington Winery, right on the edge of the Shenandoah National Park.

The long view!

I love those ornate fences and gates. Not too many in our little town. Great captures of your trip, Linda. :)

That is such a beautiful area. I drove past it a few years ago and I still wish I could have spent some time there.

Wow! If my sister lived near a winery I'd want to visit often. Just kidding as - believe it or not - there are quite a few wineries here in Ontario. And they ARE fun to visit, for photo opportunities, of course. :)
