In addition to the barns and fences I found while in Missouri, I also went hunting old churches. I specifically wanted the kind I remembered from my childhood so long ago. There was no shortage of those.
Zion United Methodist Church was established in 1868! Looks wonderful for a church that old.
Fairview Church was established in 1888.
Mt. Zion Baptist Church was built in 1908, but has fallen into disrepair. Sad, because it was a lovely old mission style church.
Hope you have enjoyed some of my "finds" for this Sunday morning. May your day be full of blessings!

I love old churches, too, Linda. These are beautiful - especially the 2nd one. Was the childhood church you spoke of in Dendron? Or did your family move there when you were older?
Those are lovely churches...kind of like the kind I grew up in. My church now is all modern glass...like a library or something.
Thanks for commenting on my blog. I hope you are enjoying your bokeh play. I personally love bokeh :)
These are wonderful....I like to photograph churches, too.
