Driving around Pigeon Forge, we took quite a few narrow, winding roads, looking for barns and fences. One was so narrow, we were afraid we were going to have to back out if we met someone! I looked down into the ravine at one point, and saw these guys, resting along the creek.

What are you lookin' at? |
There was a fence across the stream a little farther up, but I couldn't see the farm, so I am not sure where they came from. It looked like pretty rough terrain to me...but then, I guess goats don't really mind the hike!

Love the goats, Linda! They seem to be able to climb around anywhere, I wish I could move as good as a goat. Great shots, happy weekend!
Cute pictures! Your post reminded me: we saw a car yesterday with the license plate: "OLD GOAT"!
You must have had the LONG lens to get these shots!
Nice capture... they look pretty content!
I never know what I am going to find here Linda! I always love to come check it out. Those goats have a pretty good thing going there. Lots of green and rocky terrain. Don't goats love climbing? That one checking out... :)
Enjoy your Saturday!
Rare to see goats around here but I do know of one family that keeps a pair to use as their grass mowers.
Linda you have a sharp eye. Great find.
Great catch! They look so peaceful.
Nice find...goats can really navigate!
rough terrain = goat heaven! :)
Lovely shots and I like your header too:)
Looks like good terrain for goats. They tend to eat more shrubby stuff. I think you had to work hard to get these shots as they were tucked away.
Looks like a great place for goats to hang out!
Gotta love those goats.
Great find! Goats are so good at traversing rough terrain.
I've seen pictures of goats in the most extraordinary places Linda, I think this is probably a gentle relax for them. Well spotted while traversing that very narrow lane!
Awww cute goats! Late visit from Camera Critters. Your visit at
Pets & Critters Nook will be greatly appreciated.
Nice shots!
