Tuesday's Barn

Sometimes the barn shots just leave a lot to be desired...so playing with them is the best thing I can think of to do.  I couldn't get close to this barn, but I loved the shape, and the fact that it was still a working barn.  So here you go...

However, to be honest, I think the pickup truck kind of ruins the whole antique thing, don't you?

I like the edits on both shots Linda. And that is a charming barn with the cows munching and the fence and the stock trailer! Great barn for Barn Charm!

I love everything about this photo. The washed out red, the cows, the round bales in the foreground, even the pickup truck.

I agree the modern picup truck takes away from the vintage look of this shot! I love everything else about it though!!!

I like that the cattle were all standing in front of the barn! That's cool! Nice edits, too!

I would never have noticed the pick up truck. like the idea of a working barn.

Lovely shot, Linda. I also like the post-processing effects you have used.

Hi Linda, Love the barn photo and the way you changed it. I just hit the follow button but it was giving me trouble. Please let me know if I need to try again. I don't want to loose you, Connie :)

I like how each region of the country has their own typical designs. Yet each barn is a variation on the farmer's/rancher's needs.

Actually, I didn't notice it until you said something. Still, I think it is my favorite of the two shots. Nice to see a barn that is still in use. So many in my area are not.

I just read the interview you did for Jidhu Jose. I found it very interesting and well done. Congratulations.

This barn seems perfect for sepia. This looks like a very old photo.
