(I have had lots of questions about my header shot - it was taken in Connemara, Ireland, near the 12 Bens. I am such a sucker for shots of the road...)
This stretches the thinking just a bit, don't you think? But they were simply too pretty to pass up!
These are all located on the grounds of a beach vacation rental company on the southern end of Virginia Beach. I love the colors and the style of the horses - these guys don't eat much, and notice, they don't have to be fenced in! There is a banner near the first one that says "Live Strong". I think there is some significance to that, but I admit, I have no idea what it is. I just like the horses!

They are pretty horses and it is nice they do not eat much. Great shots, have a wonderful weekend.
pretty horses. where was your header shot taken. that view is awesome! have a great weekend. big hugs! (:
They are pretty! That last shot reminds me of something from my childhood....but I can't remember exactly what it is!
I agree: that header is gorgeous! Where was that??
That header shot is great. I thought you had created it by overlaying one photo on top of another somehow. The first horse reminded me of a van I saw once where the owner was covering it all in small mirror tiles. What a tedious bit of work making each of the horses must have been.
Yep...I have to chime in with the rest...your header shot is Awesome...very dramatic!!!
Love these horses...so pretty, makes for a nice photo op!!!
they are really neat!
These horses are beautiful. We have a bunch of them around town. One year there was a project and a bunch of artists painted horses just like these and they displayed them in different locations.
sWANS HERE IN lAKELAND PRETTY
The first thing I said when I opened your blog was "Wow" when I saw your header. It is beautiful. The horses are too!
I love that first horse! Just spectacular.
I like the horses, especially the mirrored one. Your header is gorgeous!
They are delightful - and don't make any mess!
Awesome idea ! Winnipeg, Manitoba had a 200 polar bears through the downtown which artists decorated. It was cool.
Really like your new header and your theme of roads.
They sure are fancy!
I like them too Linda, especially the first mirrored one, how fabulous for reflections oui!
First off, the mirrored horse reminds me of a mirrored dress form that I saw at an art show a couple of years back (using only recycled materials), but both remind of the artistic cow forms that were painted and auctioned off for charity in Portland (OR) several years ago.
Wonderful!
