You have a 500mm! WOW!!!! I'm happy for you.I have learned to pop all my equipment into a basket when I come home, and pop it into the car as soon as I go ANYWHERE! It really has helped. We tend to drive, then end up in a different place from our destination. It's been a great summer.Cheers from Cottage Country!
