Monday Murals

More murals from around home...both of these were painted for free by an artist with the name T.A.L.Ent .  They are both located in Virginia Beach, VA.  This one was painted to honor fallen firefighters and is entitled "Loss of a Friend"...

This second one is also titled "Loss of a Friend" and was painted to honor fallen police officers.  Each of these is available from the artist as a print.

This one is really well done, but the bike rack, tree and paper boxes are so close, you cannot get a shot without them in it.

Beautiful and touching murals. I love the cute dogs. Have a great day, Linda!

I love the depiction of the dalmation. The street furniture gives the second good context so I don't mind it at all.

T.A.L.Ent has talent! I especially think the first one is moving, but both are well done. And like Gerald, I don't mind seeing the mural in context either.

These are great murals! Very moving and our brave firefighters and police officers certainly deserve to be recognized.

That one...the first one...wow. So very poignant this morning. Tears welled up...I had to enlarge it to get the full effect.

Beautiful Linda.

BTW, I have ancestors close to your name...instead of the "n" our family's history is spelled with a "b" from Cavan County Ireland. Small world.

How I love these, Linda -- especially the second one (being a GSD owner X 2). Thank you for sharing.

I haven't seen these. Might need to take a little ride when I'm done that way.
They are very touching!
Beautiful finds!

These are moving murals. Well composed and well executed. As with all public environmental aspects that detract from the image. Thanks, Linda, for your continuing participation in Monday Mural.

Oh well done Linda, what a find. These murals are wonderful. Such an ironic twist, it's usually the person losing their best friend, the dog, you don't think about how a pet feels if they lose their owner. Very sad indeed.
