No Surprise Here - it's Barn Charm Tuesday!

Another Tuesday, another barn.  What fun it is to have an excuse to drive out of the city into the country!  "Oh, honey, I have to find another photo for Barn Charm...will you drive me so I can shoot?"  (Works every time!)

This one was taken a few weeks ago, somewhere on Rt. 10, near Smithfield, VA. Just a nicely maintained, functional barn...out in the middle of a field (where else would you expect to find a barn?)

Near Ft. Boykin
The long view

I loved the view with the rows of stubble leading your eye to the barn.

And there you have it...linking to Barn Charm.

Great find Linda, that's a pretty substantial looking barn! I must keep my eyes open, I don't recall seeing any barns on country trips here, but they must be there!

Well, I've seen many a barn RIGHT on the side of the road, so they aren't ALL out in the field.

Great barns!

Linda - I posted a picture of the Smithfield barn a few months ago. I think it was my first entry in Barn Charm! Love these. They look like "home".

Linda...You gave us a really nice collection of barns this week. As many times as we have been through Smithfield, I have never seen the first one. It is so pretty. genie

That long road is fantastic. Like the barns too. The windows are clear even from afar.

The barns are fantastic! I don't think I've seen so many windows on a barn like in the first photo.
