Can you guess what they were feeding on? We had to do some research to find out...
Lingonberries! Who knew that they were so tasty? Obviously, the deer did! Shortly after our time there, I found Lingonberry Jam, imported from Poland. It is YUMMY!

How cute, I just love seeing the deer. How wonderful they were just outside your room? Thanks for sharing, have a great weekend!
I didn't even know they grew in USA. I had heard of them...and the preserves, but just didn't know that they were found on our soil!! Amazing. Loved the last image the best..."My eyes adore you"!!!

Oh, what great pics! Look at those tiny antlers on that one in your last pic.
I'm not familiar with lingonberries. Maybe I should plant some of those shrubs, so the deer will leave my other plants alone!
Good Saturday Morning to you Linda! I have never heard of Lingonberries! I know the deer love to eat everything on our property though! Including my new Forsythia!!!
What a thrill to see nature up close n personal! Lingonberries are very good for you. Those are smart deer!
How fantastic to see this scene right outside your window Linda, I hadn't heard of these berries either so I Googled them, a bit like cranberries they said, a bit sour! Trust the deer to smell them out! Love this last image!
The deer in my yard aren't choosy!
Love the little buck peeking from behind the bush!
so cute to see them right out of your window there! :)

What a special snap Linda and just love your header photo!
Great shots...I haven't had lingonberry preserves in ages but they are delicious aren't they!
Pam
Great shots of the lovely deer.
Thanks for sharing this beauty.
Looks like the lingonberries are the same as cranberries. We serve cranberry jam with dishes like meatballs, beef stew.
Wish you a beautiful day.

We have them right up at our CO. house, they eat the dry scrub oak leaves, aspen bark & whatever else they can find in the winter. In spring, summer, fall they will eat nearly everything, including rose bushes, but they don't care for daffodils-though other bulb plants they will enjoy!
They so eat EVERYTHING around here! They've been watching the cats patrol for mice friends. Entertainment for us!
Lovely captures!
