Being retired does have its advantages! It means that any day we have good weather, we can hop in the car and go off chasing that perfect shot. Tuesday was no exception - we went out into the country "barn chasing". Of course, we always find something else to shoot - churches, animals, water, and of course, fences. This was one of the most unusual I have seen in a while. I can only imagine how expensive those "finials" were! Pretty though...
I liked how they built the fence around the trees!

Wow! I just love the horse heads on the white fence! Very nice of them to keep the trees and go around them instead!!
great fence. i'm trying to email you about the blog hop. to see how i can help out. but i have 2 linda's in my email box. not sure which you are. of if you are either of those, maybe i don't have your email at all?? nuts. i notice you are a non-reply blogger ... make sure you go to your profile & show you email address so people can reply to you when you leave them a comment. it is so wonderful to leave comments ... we always want to reply to your email. thanks. have a great weekend. (:
Oh yes...that is quite pretty and so country in such a 'formal' way. I love it. Imagine tho, as you say...we're retired...can you imagine the upkeep of trying to have it remain so white?!! Guess we'd need a neighbor like Tom Sawyer. LOL
PS....love your new door. That oval leaded glass is perfect. Y'know what I've always wanted? ---a narrow panel cut in the wall by the door entryway, with stained glass. Okay...you may call me a dreamer.
Very pretty fence!! I can see why you'd stop to take a picture of that.
Yes, we always seem to find something to photograph. Yesterday, hubby & I took a detour to avoid a traffic jam and found a beautiful old barn! Glad I had my camera: next week's Barn Charm!
Your post will definitely have me looking at fences in a different way from now on :).
Gorgeous fence..n yes...I bet those finials cost a pretty penny! Being retired is wonderufl isn't..everyday is Saturday!!!!
I would love to have that fence in our west pasture with a couple of beautiful bays running and snorting! Nice fence snaps Linda. Are you not having Florida withdrawal? We are!
Goodness! I live in horse country--Kentucky--but have never seen anything like these fencecaps (? or whatever the top thingeys are called. On our horse farms there are small fences around trees. Apparently the horse think they're delicious snacks or side scratchers.
love those toppers on that fence! nice!
Beautiful fence.
Regards and best wishes
Someone must really love horses! Pretty though.
Amazing find Linda! What a show stopper. Being from a horse/stud background I've never seen anything remotely like it either. Gorgeous.

A lovely white fence adorned with unique finials topping every other fence post.
Gorgeous find and capture!
So cool! Do they actually have horsed somewhere, too?
Love the white fencing and the horse heads on the posts! Very cool!
Excellent find Linda, must be a pretty successful stud farm or riding school maybe!
