This was a really nice one - one of the first ones I saw.
These three are on the side of the Winn Dixie store - this last one shows my hubby standing by the cowboy roping a steer - just to show the scope of the mural. This one is HUGE! And, when you walk up to it to view it, there is a speaker playing the sounds of a thundering herd, cows bellowing - fabulous! I always enjoy this one - so much to see!
This one, depicting the growth of oranges as a cash crop, is really fascinating - the picker seems to be sticking out of the mural!
There are so many - 42 in all - so it will take a few weeks to show them. I will include a bit of their history in coming weeks.
Mosey on over to Monday Murals to see more murals from everywhere (or nearly everywhere!)
Happy Monday!

Wow! Lots of detail in these murals. Put a cowboy hat on hubby and he would fit right in with the mural.
I have never heard of a talking mural! These are fabulous, so I can't wait to see the others.
I'm still jealous about that whole "town of murals" thing. Love seeing your hubby in scale to the piece. I went to college in Jax...Winn Dixie. Haven't thought of that one in years.
Well-done murals!
The sun sounds very inviting to me! :)
Wow, never seen anything like this! I especially like the series of three, with all the cows, really beautiful! Thanks for sharing Linda.
Nice captures Linda, beautiful murals and many of them, looking forward to seeing more.
much nicer and more interesting than our street graffiti
These are fabulous! Worth a trip to see them or just see them here as you post them!
I love murals! I have photos of them, too. Somewhere!!! What a great idea for a theme.
Cheers from Cottage Country!
These area amazing, Linda!
Love, love, love the cow mural. And a talking one at that. Can't believe how huge it is. I don't think of cowboys when I think of Florida, so would love to know more about the history of the cattle industry in Florida. Thank you for participating in Monday Mural. I look forward to see what else you have for us.
Love the cattle drive mural- someone is very talented!
